St. Charles June PR

With the recent injury to starter Oscar Wheeler, rumors coming from the St. Charles Front Office are revolving around the possibility that several Sheens players are being placed on the trade block prior to the BSA all star game. The Top 5 players that analysts believe might be moved are as follows:

3B Max Rash

Rash is 27, and has been a steady contributor since making it to the big league level in 2024, although an altercation with the team's hitting coach resulted in Rash being demoted to AAA Vancouver for a majority of the 2025 season. Rash can play 1B, 2B and 3B, but his cannon of an arm makes him most valuable at third. As a hitter, he can be expected to hit between 13-18 HRs and often uses his speed to turn a double into a triple.

1B Stan Bates

Bates is 27, and the left-handed first baseman has proven to be a decent fielder with some pop in his bat. He's a line drive hitter, as exemplified in his past two seasons, with Bates hitting 18 HRs in 350 at bats and 25 HRs in 598 at bats, also recording 20 doubles in each of those seasons. He's anything but fleet footed, but he's still managed to swipe 3 bases this season.

OF Dan Tyler

Tyler is 29, but he's only been a full-time player on the major league level since 2025. He won't embarrass himself on the basepaths and , as a defender, he possesses decent speed and a strong arm, with his natural position being LF, although he can also play CF, RF and even 1B in an emergency situation. Tyler has been crushing the ball against lefties this year.

P Oscar Wheeler

Wheeler recently turned 33, but he still produces on the mound. He's averaging nearly a strikeout an inning, while keeping the ball on the ground (he's allowing less than a home run per game). He throws four stellar pitches (fastball, curveball, changeup and forkball) with excellent control. He's only failed to reach the seventh inning twice this season, once due to an injury that took him out of the game. His 7.01 hits/9 were second best in the league last season.

P Ben Moody

Moody is 29, and has been in the big leagues since a late-season callup in 2022. That is the only year that he ended the season with an ERA over 3.50. He's capable of throwing a shutout every time he takes the mound, and even recorded a perfect game last season. He's led the league in strikeouts in the past two seasons and was third in WHIP last season.
