(PLY SEPT PR) Once Upon A Time

Everyone has heard the saying "It is not about how you start but about you finish." The Rocks have gone 40-31 since the All Star break after losing only 26 pre-all star break. Despite 100 wins and a NL East title for a second straight year there is serious concern in the Rocks' front office.

The Rocks' pitching staff is 29 points higher compared to the 2028 season despite a major haul of the back of the bullpen and the young rotation heading into their prime years. Rocks babip is 16 points higher in 2028 but yet the batting average is 10 points lower. To top it all off the Rocks will enter the playoffs with their second best hitter on the DL in what is already a joke of an offense.

After several hours spent trying to figure out what is the reason for this downward trend the front office has come on this conclusion...

Yeah we don't have clue what went wrong. For the most part the team is in tact but the losing continues.
The defense is better in 2028 but yet we can not stop runners from crossing home plate. So with the offense down two starters and the pitchers throwing like they play for SF the Rocks' fan do not have a whole lot to look forward to this postseason. Especially when the impending match up with the People's Champ over in Nassau.

So I have to ask...is it 2029 yet?
