Chase Sims releases the PR "CL Projections (Totals In Parentheses Are 2027 Win Totals)"
In it, he predicts the standings of the CL Central as such:
CL Central1. Springfield (103-59)Springfield has gotten so comfortable at the top that they let their MVP start on the hill with a DH for a game last year. Nothing changes this year. Springfield wins another 100 games and washing out in the playoffs. One catch here...if Kim learns how to pitch in the ML they could be a WS favorite.
2. Kalamazoo (79-83)While Kalamazoo is poised to start competing Bosma is not ready to let them. Keith and Castro will not start in the ML to keep them from being Super 2 guys and because of this Kalamazoo will miss the playoffs in 2028 but 2029 is a different story.
3. Kansas City (90-72)The "feel good story" of 2027 will lead to the disappointment in 2028. KCK was one of the luckiest teams last year and while they have made some upgrades I believe reaching 90 wins again is the ceiling for 2028. (rest of review removed for emotional impact)
Kansas City currently has 95 wins. Kansas City is going to the playoffs for the FIRST TIME EVER IN TEAM HISTORY
Since BSA year 2007, the Hackers/Lions/Kings have never made it to the post season. That changes tonight.
